About BACF: Once treatment is done and your doctors clear you to return to "normal" - things such as work or volunteering are now not as easy as they were before - you now know you need to identify balance, to find what feeds your soul, what truly motivates you to be happy with the knowledge that life really is TOO SHORT.
It is time to regain your dignity and your place in the world outside of hospitals, doctors appointments and infusion centers. Our programs help bridge the gap from your life before to your work life AFTER cancer or other debilitating disease.
We partner with organizations to provide our training and also work directly with you and your family to help you get back to "normal". Sometimes, your diagnosis means you cannot work anymore and now a family member has to get back to work or find a better paying job in order to bridge the gap that cancer gave your budget.
As a cancer survivor herself, our founder understands that HEALTH and WELLNESS are most important for this life after cancer but also that finding your PURPOSE and having meaningful work is integral to the new "normal" of life after a diagnosis.
